TINA JACKSON
Tina is a highly experienced CAMHS Development Officer, with in-depth knowledge of legislation and policy with regard to child and adolescent mental health/services.
Since 2005 she has undertaken a range of consultancy assignments, including: work for the Regional CAMH’s Development Worker in the North East looking at CAMHS Services for Looked After Children; completed a regional audit of PCT OAT’s to inform Tier 4 review; conducted an Awareness Raising Campaign for CAMHS which was funded through ‘Sustaining CAMHS Funding’ and across four Local Authority Areas; reviewed a Looked After Children’s CAMHS Service and two Learning Disability teams; developed a multi-agency care pathway for children and young people who self harm (including the development of appropriate training and skill building within the pathway); undertook a Workforce Review of a Tier 3 CAMHS Service including mapping the processes and systems used in the team, analysis of level and type of referrals, allocation processes and measuring the capacity and workload of the team. The subsequent report made recommendations to aid future workforce planning; and in partnership with young people, she developed and produced a Participation Strategy across Tees.
