JANE NIND M.A.
Jane is an experienced consultant and senior manager with an NHS background. She has extensive knowledge and experience of developing multi agency children’s services and particular interest and expertise in mental health.
Jane has worked with Camhs Consultants Ltd for a number of years and has led projects to review CAMHS services, undertaken needs analysis and developed joint commissioning strategies, drawn up commissioning specifications and advised on service development and service configuration.
A nurse and health visitor by background Jane graduated from the Department of Law, Kings College London with a master degree in Child Studies. She entered general management in 1992 and over the next 15 years she gained experience in a variety of operational management, service planning, strategic partnership and governance roles latterly as a Executive Director in a PCT.
The development of Children’s Trusts has challenged many authorities and Jane has recently worked with two large local authorities to develop the effectiveness of governance and joint commissioning arrangements.
Jane approach is to build on what is working well by engaging with managers, front line staff, service users and carers to get a understanding of the strengths, gaps and opportunities for development, then work alongside senior managers to build commitment and support for change.
