Our Team - Jacqui Mann

JACQUI MANN

Jacqueline has 26 years’ NHS experience in a variety of clinical posts, ranging from a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit Sister at Great Ormond Street Hospital, to time as a Health Visitor in Surrey, before moving on to senior roles as Clinical Nurse Specialist then Manager of a large acute and community child health department in Surrey then in Devon, and Named Nurse for Child Protection.  She has had a strong commitment to training and developing staff, as well as promoting multi-disciplinary working.  She has provided expertise for the private/charity sector too, in clinical governance issues and provision of integrated care for children with special needs.

Jacqueline’s last operational post was at directorate management level.  She was one of the first nurses to hold the post of Lead Clinician for Child Health.  She progressed to commissioning, with North and East Devon HA, and the SW Specialist Commissioning Team, reviewing CAMHS tiers 1-4, sensory services delivery, and setting up a neonatal network.  Her multi-agency strategic level experience was further broadened as the SW Peninsula SHA Children’s Lead helping to build networks and working partnerships between local authority and health organisations.  Jacqueline understands the complexities of policy and delivery in the implementation of the national agenda for children and young people.  Attainment of a Post Graduate Certificate in Service Improvement (Health and Social Care) in 2006 reflects her desire to support organisations in this area.

Jacqueline has worked in an independent capacity since 2007 with a wide variety of work.   Jacqueline maintains her clinical skills and professional registration.  In addition, since her daughter’s recovery from anorexia, she offers informal support to other parents, and retains an interest in eating disorders in children.
