Please see below for a selection of our Associates who are currently available for Interim Assignments:

Associate 1:

Following a successful career in local government at senior management levels and with the Audit Commission as an Inspector and Performance Specialist, Associate 1 has worked as a consultant for five years achieving significant improvements in public sector organisations such as local authorities, primary care trusts and local strategic partnerships.

She has recently completed a two year long programme of support to the Operational Director of a Council who is leading on the Transformation of Adult Social Care in the council and local area. This has included implementing an action plan for commissioners to meet the gaps and ensure value for money in the systems needed to support the transformation agenda. This involved extensive involvement of stakeholders across the borough and securing their support for a major change programme.

Experienced in identifying value for money, existing and projected needs for outcomes focused, Associate 1 has developed Commissioning Strategies and associated business plans to manage pooled budgets.

She has experience in evaluating the impact of Transformation on commissioning, researching good practice and producing high level reports with action plans which include top level strategic implications, service brokerage and managing the market.

Associate 2:

Associate 2 has significant Project Management experience which is all focussed on gaining efficiencies and value for money through commissioning and investment to save improvements. With an excellent understanding of both the Health and Social Care agenda's in relation to children’s and adults services he has worked within PCTs, Foundation Trusts, Local Authorities and the Department of Health.

He has particular, notable achievements in transformation of services and has recently undertaken a cost improvement review, working with a Trust to achieve savings of up to £9m into 2011 to assist in aspirations to become a foundation trust. He is fully conversant with World Class Commissioning and working within wider efficiency programmes.

Associate 3:

As an ex-PCT Chief Executive and Commissioning director, Associate 3’s particular strengths lie around commissioning strategies and developing business cases for service change and organisational reviews. He has successfully completed a number of assignments demonstrating a strong, practical background in the management and commissioning of primary care services. This includes a thorough grounding in the contractual basis for provision of primary care and extensive experience working with General Practitioners in Practice Based Commissioning Consortiums

Associate 4:

Associate 4 has over 15 years’ experience within Healthcare. A well-respected team-leader with a reputation for a ‘hands on approach’ and getting the job done, he has a proven record of delivering complex programmes with a range of healthcare clients in both public and private sectors. His most recent role was to project manage the separation of a PCT’s provider arm, where he delivered a fast-track procurement process. Other achievements to date have been to project manage the implementation of an innovative performance management tool for NHS commissioners within a PCT and to design a new risk stratification product.

Associate 5:

Associate 5 has experience of working with commissioners, public health and information teams to achieve world class commissioning standards. He has focused on projects across primary care and secondary care by providing project management and business consultancy to varied clients. He is experienced in care pathway redesign and project management. He has project managed clinical audits, to improve the efficiencies of referrals and processed and then identified the shortcomings of the service against world class commissioning objectives.

His key skills are Project Management, Change Management, Healthcare Commissioning, Business Process Improvement and Improvement of efficiency. He is skilled in interpreting and quantifying the impact of health needs assessment, strategic intentions and care standards to determine healthcare demands. He is a PRINCE2 accredited project manager and has managed a range of business transformation projects across the Public and Private Sector.

Associate 6:

Associate 6 is an experienced Interim Commissioner and project manager providing service innovation, strategy, and redesign and is skilled in service mapping.

He is experienced in developing joint working especially focusing on engagement with 3rdsector.

He has developed Performance Management Frameworks and a Quality Assurance processes for Commissioning and sits on an SHA Social Value Steering Group which is tasked with embedding social value methodologies into existing and future commissioning activities.
